cultivates relationships with education policy stakeholders to generate project sales.
Possesses subject matter expertise in early childhood, K–12, and postsecondary education policy; is intellectually curious and uses education policy interests and expertise to generate new project prospects

Essential Duties
- Uses expertise in early childhood, K–12, and postsecondary education policy to provide leadership in education policy
- Interprets and comments on complex policy issues, advancing PSC’s position as a policy thought leader
- Cultivates and maintains relationships with education policy leaders to stay abreast of key issues and policy topics and identify opportunities for PSC to contribute to advancing smart public policy
- Manages multiple projects concurrently, including communicating with clients and partners, overseeing the scope of work, and collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality projects that are completed on time and on budget
- Mentors staff through modeling PSC values, championing the firm’s policies and processes, providing guidance in handling client and colleague relational matters, and delivering constructive feedback
- Serves as a strategic advisor to staff, including guiding the development of scopes of work, reviewing client deliverables and sales proposals, and providing relevant information to offer potential solutions
- Designs meeting processes and facilitates stakeholder discussions to advance education policy topics
- Ensures services are delivered with consideration to the proper allocation of resources, profitability, high-quality output, and a high level of client satisfaction
- Develops and maintains an understanding of work undertaken across the firm to communicate what PSC does from a broad lens to external audiences

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and ten years of relevant work experience; a master’s degree in education or relevant discipline is preferred
- Experience working on public policy topics with diverse stakeholders
- Experience managing and mentoring others
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $109,136 – 155, 262
- Eligibility for company profit share
